Oleícola de l’Empordà wins two awards in Argentina
The extra-virgin olive oil Clos de la Torre, produced by Oleícola de l’Empordà, has won the Gran Prestige Gold award at the 7th World Extra-Virgin Olive Oil Competition in Latin America, Olivinus 2013, held recently in Mendoza (Argentina).
Furthermore, it was awarded an honourable mention for the bottle and label, a new category this year at these prestigious awards.
The olive oil made by the company from Rabós d’Empordà was a winner amongst the more than 500 olive oils presented this year from all over the world.
It is not the first time that Clos de la Torre extra-virgin olive oil has won an Olivinus award, although this year, it won the major award.
Clos de la Torre extra-virgin olive oil thus continues to be recognised amongst the best quality oils in the world and furthermore, with this honourable mention, it possesses one of the best bottle and label designs.
