Clos de la Torre extra virgin olive oil is awarded again in the TerraOlivo 2022 Contest
It is the twelfth year in which Clos de la Torre oil has been awarded in this prestigious contest dedicated to olive oil, held in Jerusalem (Israel).
Clos de la Torre extra virgin olive oil, produced by Oleícola de l'Empordà, a company located in Rabós d'Empordà, in the Alt Empordà region, has just been chosen, for the twelfth year, among the best in the world.
This high-end oil, very fruity and with a great balance, has recently been awarded the Prestige Gold in the TerraOlivo 2022 contest, held in Jerusalem (Israel), where this new edition of the TerraOlivo International Congress was held, where 663 EVOOs participated. from 19 countries, including Israel, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, the United States and many more. The EVOOs were tasted and evaluated by 40 certified olive oil tasters from various countries.
Among the objectives of these awards is to reward the best extra virgin oils worldwide and promote the nutritional benefits of its consumption.
The manager of the company from Empordà, Martí Clos, has been very satisfied since "it is a source of pride to be among the best oils in the world for so many consecutive years, and these recognitions help us to continue working and try to improve day by day".
